Patrick Malone
Managing Director Goldcrest

Patrick joined Goldcrest Post Production Facilities as Managing Director in January 2014. Born in Ashington, Northumberland in 1969, he acquired a degree in film, photography & animation at UCA in Farnham before starting his career in the post-production industry as a runner in 1995.

After a brief spell at Framestore CFC he joined the bookings team at Ascent Media in Wardour Street where over the course of the next few years he worked his way up to Head of Production at St. Anne’s Post. He took over Deluxe’ digital intermediate department at the end of 2006 and oversaw the advancement of its infrastructure and client base into a thriving feature film post facility. He drew upon this experience when he moved into his current role at Goldcrest Post Production, transforming it into the world-class facility it is today.

In tandem with his day to day responsibilities, Malone continues to produce and direct film projects in his own right, positioning him uniquely to advise and support clients and staff from the pre-production stage right through to delivery of a project.

Marc Boothe
Creative Director, B3 Media

Marc is the Founder and Creative Director of B3 Media, a creative arts network. He has been responsible for developing many innovative initiatives across film, visual arts, new media. Marc also produces B3 Talentlab a creative arts talent development programme for emerging BAME creatives across film, visual arts and multi-platform. Previously, Marc worked as a Senior Executive at UK Film Council (New Cinema Fund). He also holds an MBA and is a NESTA Fellow (National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts).

Chris Jones
Filmmaker & Writer

Having made four feature films and being involved in countless more, Chris was in a brilliant position to write the global bestseller The Guerilla Filmmakers Handbook series. With nearly half a million copies sold, over seven volumes, the books appear on most filmmakers shelves, and at all levels. Passionate about supporting indie film and emerging talent, alongside ongoing productions Chris trains filmmakers and also runs the London Screewnwriters’ Festival, soon to be in its tenth year. Alex Wade

Alex Wade is a media lawyer, writer and freelance journalist. He is the author of four books (three on sport, and one novel), has written for all the UK broadsheets, in particular, The Times and Guardian, and been short-listed as sports feature writer of the year. As a lawyer, Alex advises national newspapers, magazines, publishing houses, production companies and broadcasters on the full range of pre-publication and pre-broadcast legal issues, from libel and copyright to contempt of court, privacy, and compliance. www.alexwade.com

Bryan Cook
International Moving image Society

Bryan began his career in the States in the camera department and has continued to enjoy his experience on set as a focus puller and a director of photography. He primarily works on feature films, corporate and commercials. He enjoys mentoring the new entrants into the industry and instilling any wisdom he can upon them. Bryan is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer of IMIS and has been a member since 2013.

Jude Prior
Pro-Motion

Jude Prior has worked in the Broadcast sector for almost 20 years working at some of the largest companies within the industry including Granada, Carlton, ITN & Objective Productions. She has been part of the management team within Pro Motion Hire for the last 7 1/2 years.

Jo Cadoret
Film London

Jo has managed the delivery of Film London’s award-winning short film schemes London Calling and London Calling Plus, and other short film-related projects since 2003. In that time he has developed and delivered 100s of groundbreaking and international, award-winning shorts, including four BAFTA nominees – most recently Wren Boys and the BAFTA-winning I Do Air.

Having worked in the Media industry for over 6 years now Michael has a real passion for helping projects get made. Although our primary role will always remain that of an insurance broker, Michael is keen to develop relationships with individuals and businesses from all areas of Production so Performance remains well positioned to support our clients.
