RD opened its doors in 2009. At 15 years old we are now a creative agency, production company, post house, equipment rental and film studio operator combined into one vertically integrated business. We have over 100 employees across four offices globally.

Our core service is creating content for some of the world’s biggest brands. We are different because of our investment into facilities and a full time in-house team that includes directors, writers, music composers, gaffers, producers and VFX artists amongst many others.

We have five brands within our business:

RD Content, delivers high quality commercial content for the advertising industry,

Neverdark Studio, specialises in film and animation projects for the gaming industry;

RD Studios, offers 75,000 square foot of state-of-the-art, zero carbon film studios in West London;

RD Rentals, provides high end camera, lighting and grip equipment and support for all production needs;

RD Originals, produces original content across various genres. Our first children’s show is due to air in 2025 and a slate of indie-feature films will be produced over the next three years.

Notable recent projects include The Pit Stop with F1 and Qatar Airways. The show asks the question; what does the very best holiday experience look like around the world, from the most incredible hotels, activities and restaurants. It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it!

We have a number of technology led projects focused on combining motion capture and virtual production. We’ve worked extensively on how to use these technologies for short form advertising. In particular we have seen increased interest in how these technologies can be used for architectural visualisation projects.

Our wildlife documentary team has recently returned from Southern Saudi Arabia, with a film showcasing a part of the world that has never been captured on camera before.

Whilst the industry has felt a seemingly endless wave of pressures, from pandemics, to writer’s strikes to the new threats of AI, we remain positive and optimistic about the future with a commitment to embracing new trends and technologies to keep RD at the forefront of the creative industries.
